Excellent service ,amazing crew

bababikhiyalShiraz, Iran 27 June 2015
in fact my first stay at Barandaz was quite accidental as some mistake had been made in the course of reservation for my tour ,but what a blessing mistake !
Mr.Tabatabayi are doing a marvelous job over there right in the center of Iran desert .clean rooms ,fantastic meals ( thanks to MOM ) and remarkable friendliness in the atmosphere made my stay quite memorable .
by March time there was still a bit of winter chill present but thanks to ever burning fire in the corner of yard and ever ready TEA nights were fantastic .
Amo , the uncle ,super calm man during the course of daily encounters, did amazing athlete performance ,driving 4WD in the safari tour.UNBELIEVABLE .
the combination was so good that I simply forgot all the stress had risen by reservation mistakes and also dipped road to Mesr

Highlight of our trip

Best place we stayed in during our trip to Iran. Best part was camping out in the desert alone with just our guide which was truly an unforgettable experience. Food is great too, loved the home cooked camel and they had the best dates I've ever tasted in my life!

Calm and quiet place at the end of the world

Masoud JYazd Province, Iran 18 May 2015
Just coming back from a two days stay in Barandaz.
The place is beautifully located on the edge of the sand desert and makes your stay especial as most other places in the region are located with the distance from the real desert.
you hardly see the staff except for the times they serve you the food or when you call for them.
The only downside were the mosquitoes which at the time I was there they were too many. Make sure you bring mosquito net if you're sensitive or travelling with children.
The food was simple but tasty.

My desert rest

MonicaByrneDurham, North Carolina 9 April 2015
I was pretty exhausted from touring by the time we reached Barandaz, but it was perfect for just that: resting. I slept so long and so contentedly, and ate so well, and just read and wrote and relaxed all day, and watched the sunset on the dunes. What a beautiful place. I hope I get to come back someday.

Uncomplicated and Beautiful

Tob_NaZurich, Switzerland 7 April 2015
This was a very relaxing stay for me at Barandaz lodge. Wandering the dunes, sitting around the tea-pot fire, eating carefully prepared and very deliciouse home made food, gazing at the stars and the sunrise, discovering the water canal system of the oasis ... everything perfect and highly recommended. Don't shy away because of the seemingly complicated journey there.

Best Local House with best services

kianbabazadehTehran, Iran 8 March 2015
I travel all around the Iran and I stayed in most of the local houses in this region of central desert. this is the best place I ever stayed not only because of the house itself but because of the manner and hospitality of Tabatabaes family who manage this resort. Also how they respect the nature and try to protect the area.

Room Tip: There is one room in Barandaz II which have both Korsi and Fire place and it is my favorite in the w...

Hospitality and beyond

Kiu CRio de Janeiro, RJ 26 February 2015
It was hard to leave this place. The lodge preserves an authentic desrt feel and is a beautiful place to stay. The desert is stunning and was unforgettable. The hospitality was actually beyond hospitality, the generosity and warm reception we received from family & friends of Mr. Tabatabaei was touching - He really cares for preserving the way of life there and at the same time wanting to do everything to take care of your well being. I was humbed by their attitude towards us and nature. Cant recomend this enough. I am already talking to friends to try and go back soon!!!

Excellent experience of a memorable trip…

Nargges AOrlando, Florida 16 January 2015
We left our hearts in the heart of desert. We had an unforgettable trip to Farahzad, staying couple of nights with family & friends of Mr. Tabatabaei. Wonderful & warm hosts, delicious & awesome home-made food, clean & comfortable facilities, and fun activities in the beautiful nature, in middle of deserts, including camel rides, safaris, & star search made our short trip a dream-like & surreal experience. We were a family of 5 in different ages & interests, but we all decided that our experience in Farahzad/Kaveer has been the highlight of our entire trip to Iran. We will definitely go back for longer trip.
